West Lyon wins district title, will host Sibley Ocheyden first round

Ssssshhhhh, West Lyon has been winning, alot. Since the Emmetsburg win we have beat Western Christian 42-7, Hinton 35-7, Unity Christian 59-18, Ridge View 42-0, and HMS 43-14. We just have not said much lately because it seems we are not very good according to what the rest of the state thinks. Kind of reminds me of 2010 when Big Blue was ranked #9 and kicked a lot of ass to win the whole thing. Remember that? Not good enough to beat Emmetsburg, not fast enough to beat St Albert, and no way to stop Dike New Hartford. Just kind of surprised how quickly Big Blue has been dismissed this year. Folks, this is a very very good team. Vaughn is great, Dylan runs the offense well. The O line is lights out. Dylan and Chase run well. Paul and Jed catch well. The defense is tough to run on and brings lots of pressure. Colin has 5 picks, Jake is a beast, Vaughn makes tackles all over. Damon is fun to watch. Jordan hurts people. But western Iowa football sucks and the West Lyon coaching staff has never done much. I guess we will just be happy to maybe win a game or two. Because you know, Big Blue doesn't know anything about winning. By the way Jay just won his 225th game against 39 lost. Man, he sucks :) GO BIG BLUE!!
