West Lyon rolls over West Sioux 40-14

Another blowout for Big Blue!! Offense went for over 400 yards rushing and over 100 passing. Dylan Whalen had a great game at QB filling in for Brandon Snyder. He hit Kyle Groeneweg twice, one for a 70 yard TD (104 yards total). He was 3-6 with 104 yards passing. He ran the offense well. Heyer and Feuchtenberger continue to chew up yards. Heyer had 147 yards with 3 tds and Feuchtenberger had 126 yards with 1 td. Kyle had 31 yards and the other rushing TD. The offensive line was very good again. They explode off the ball. Defense played fine, but West Sioux did break a few runs on them. I'm sure that will get taken care of. We scored first and the second to make it 12-0. West Sioux drove down and the QB had a long run (20ish yards) to get the score to 12-7. Big Blue then just marched and broke big runs to make it 34-7 at half. First series score again, made it 40-7. West Sioux scored a cheap one late against our sophomores. Many of the starters were out before end of 3rd quarter. West Sioux does not have many players at all. 22 maybe? Next up is Sibley. They won their first two games, but have lost to Alta and Lawton/Bronson beat them 37-7. I read that the game was 3-0 at half though, so they must have something going on, Lawton is very good this year. The crowd was great Friday night, had a hard time moving around at times. This is another home game then on the road for two games so get out and cheer the Wildcats on. GO BIG BLUE!!
