West Lyon pounds Sibley

49-0 Big Blue Crew win over the Generals. Not alot to say, this was another dominating performance by West Lyon. Up 28-0 at end of first quarter, 41-0 at half. I don't think the varsity punted. Jacob Meyer scored on 2 TD catches and 1 INT returned for TD. Kaleb Heyer continuned to look impressive with 2 TD runs and I know Marty Pottebaum bulled one in. He ran like a bull too. I thought the defense was just impressive. Not a lot of time to throw the ball and when it was thrown there were defenders all around. We are now flying to the ball. The offense is looking much better. I understand Sibley is not very good, but we were getting 5-12 yards a run against a decent sized D line. The backs are running hard and Brandon Snyder looks more comfortable throwing the ball. I think Big Blue is a noticeably better team than they were just a few weeks ago. Homecoming this week, Alta Aurelia is next. I see they gave Lawton Bronson (who is undefeated) a good game 42-28. In the past they have been a power team that has had some good hitters. Our district is so evenly matched we need to win every district game we can. This week will be a better test of how much West Lyon has improved. See you at homecoming. GO BIG BLUE!!
