West Lyon handles Sibley

Not much to say, went to Sibley, took care of business 26-6. Slow start, 0-0 after one but scored twice to lead 13-0 at half. Extended lead to 26-0, they score very late against JV. We are now the 2nd seed and will play 3 seed from district one. I think that will be a home game. Here is a game description and game stats.


WEST LYON 26, SIBLEY-OCHEYEDAN 6

SIBLEY, Iowa -- Bennett Feuchtenberger and Adam Teunissen each scored twice to lead West Lyon past Sibley-Ocheyedan 26-6 on Friday night in a Class 1A District 2 matchup.

Calib Heyer ran for 94 yards and Feuctenberger added 91 -- each on 17 carries -- for the Wildcats (6-2, 5-1). Teunissen carried seven times for 41 yards, including a 17-yard scoring scamper, and caught all five of Jacob Meyer's completions for 59 yards and a TD.

Sibley-Ocheyedan's Ethan Stofferan punched in a late, 5-yard touchdown run for Sibley-Ocheyedan (3-5, 2-4).
