2013 Iowa Sports Spotlight Iowa High School Football All-State Teams
In Class A the Sports Spotlight Offensive Player of the Year is Jack Kline of B-G-M (Brooklyn) who led the Bears and among the best in Class A in rushing and was a favorite target out of the backfield as well.The Defensive Player of the Year goes to Kaleb Heyer of West Lyon (Inwood). Heyer led the Wildcats in tackles and tackles for losses and quarterbacked the defense to a district title and unbeaten regular season.
The Coach of the Year is Davis Pattee of A-H-S-T (Avoca). Pattee led the Vikings to a 9-0 regular season and district title with a group that held their regular season opponents to just 10 points per game.
