West Lyon sleepwalks past Pokey

I'm not sure what I was expecting Friday night. Long road trip, but Big Blue has done that a few times this year. I was worried about injuries first and making it a quick game if possible. PP actually moved the ball on the first series down to WL 20 or so but was stopped and we went on a long drive to score first 7-0. We really started to shut them down but we seemed just a touch off on offense. We did score twice before half to make it 21-0. After half we fumbled and PP had a couple nice runs and scored to make it 21-6. West Lyon then just flew down the field to make it 28-6, then 34-6, then 41-6. PP did score late on a scoop and run fumble recovery. Sully had a great game, 19 carries, 178 yards and 3 TDs. Garth Knobloch had 82 yards and a TD and Cody Ahrendt had a TD, 72 yards with another opposing player laying on the ground wondering what just hit them. Cody G was 3-3 passing for 32 yards and 26 yards rushing. We had 402 yards of Offense to PP 137 yards so it was a good solid win over a team that has struggled this year. They defense was led by Nick Thompson with 5 solo and 5 assists and one HUGE hit. Cody Ahrendt had 4 solo, 4 assists and Brendan TerWee had 1 solos 6 assists. A bunch of guys had 2-5 tackles as 2nd team D played alot of the 2nd half.
Now we have the playoffs. West Lyon finished a district runner up so we are the 2 seed and get Lawton Bronson at home. They are 7-2 and have the same coach they have had the last few years so I expect to see some of the same stuff.
